Master Bedroom Makeover

We recently bought a house and remodeled it. The master bedroom was large with a lot of good light. We decided it just needed a few cosmetic updates. And we wanted to figure out if we could get rid of those bulkheads above the bed.

Steps We Took to Update the Master Bedroom

Step 1 – New paint – decided on Revere Pewter by Sherwin-Williams, and White Dove by Benjamin Moore for the trim and ceiling. See how we chose paint colors.

Step 2 – New carpet

Step 3 – Have our contractor knock out the bulkheads

Step 4 – Replace ceiling fan with chandelier

Master Bedroom – After

We are really happy with how the master bedroom turned out. My 8-year old daughter told me that it looks like a hotel room. Since I was going for a relaxing retreat, I’ll take that as a compliment!

Hi Ramah, you did such a beautiful, comfortable and ckassy reno on your new home. I just love it! Great advice on looking for the light factor in paint. It changes so much depending on the light. Beautifully done and presented. Thanks for the info! Debbie
