What Should You Wear for Family Photos: Summer/Beachy Style

I love family photo shoots. I am always taking pictures of my kids, but I am rarely in photos. I like setting aside intentional time for photos taken of us as a family. Sometimes that means hiring a professional photographer, and sometimes that means setting up the tripod and doing it myself.

One of my favorite parts about a family photo shoot is figuring out what we are going to wear. Sometimes that means looking in our closets, and sometimes that means shopping!

I recommend basing the entire family’s outfit around mom. If YOU feel good in the pictures, you are going to love them a lot more than if you are critical of how you look.

Here is one of my favorite color combinations/outfit ideas for family photo shoots. I love when a family complements each other, but isn’t 100% matching.
