ThredUp – My Honest Review

Have you tried ThredUp before? It’s one of my favorite things. I have been known to tell random strangers about it at the grocery store when I get a compliment on something I am wearing. It’s an online consignment store – which means I can get great clothes at a great price. I love discovering new brands and saving money.

I don’t have a ton of time to sit in front of my computer and look for clothes, but I will look at the app on my phone when I have time. Since things are one-of-a-kind, if I see something I love I will add it to my cart (or “favorite” it to find later). Once you add it to your cart, you have 24-hours to check out before someone else can take it from you.

Tips to make shopping on ThredUp more enjoyable:

• Set up your filters (There are a lot of filters! I always check “New with Tags” and “Like New Condition”)
• Save your sizes
• You can narrow down by favorite brands or style of clothing
• You can set up to be notified of a favorite brand/search

If you spend a certain amount, you will get free shipping. Once your items come (in a cute box or shipping envelope!), try them on in the comfort of your own home. Whatever doesn’t fit or you don’t like, you can send back for either store credit or a refund.  (I prefer store credit because then I don’t have to pay return shipping).
