Halloween might look a little different this year in the midst of a pandemic. With the strangest year I have ever known, I am trying to keep some traditions going so things can feel a little more normal for my kids. One of those traditions is having them pick out a favorite Halloween costume and decorating our front porch for fall.
I don’t know if trick-or-treating is banned or what Halloween will look like, but I am still going to decorate, we are going to dress up, eat something pumpkiny and eat too many of those fun-sized snickers.
Here are some of my favorite finds to help get in the mood for Halloween.
Fall Wreaths
I love these fall wreaths from Etsy. They would look great from September through Thanksgiving!
Halloween Front Porch Decor
I live in a state that has “phased openings” during this pandemic. The higher the phase, the more things are open and the more people can gather. Depending on where you live, there might be some trick-or-treating this year. Even if trick-or-treating IS allowed, you might not feel up to answering the door. Here are some great options for setting out candy. I love this large “Trick or Treat” crate and the social distanced trick-or-treating sign.
Favorite Fall Finds
I love fall, when the weather turns crisp and there is pumpkin spice everywhere. Here are some of my favorite finds from Etsy.
